Even I have to admit that this is an unusual post. But, in light of the number of single men and women and the difficulty in getting to know someone, I feel it is an important post.
First, is a premise that is important. In dating I think we all can agree that money gives you the opportunity to do more things. From the man's point-of-view though Money=Control. This premise is important. If you can't accept this, read no further.
How to tell if a guy is a control freak? A simple test but it will require you ladies to step a little outside of your Comfort Zone. Let's say you have been going out with a guy for a few dates and all seems to being going well and he has been picking up the tab for the dating expenses. This is nice but you have the feeling you don't really have a grasp of his real personality. On the next date, why don't you suggest taking him out to dinner and see how he reacts? It doesn't have to be an expensive restaurant. What is important is his reaction.
If he reacts in the negative and makes a fuss about how that is not important, it could be an early indication that he likes to be in charge and in control. It could also be an indication that he is not flexible. If you are interested in a guy who likes being "in charge" that is fine. But, one consequence of this is that it gets old and stale after some time.
No test is 100% accurate including this one. This I do know though. You will not get to know the "core personality" of the guy until you stir the waters a little and see how he reacts. We live in the real world not the fiction one.
